Sterling is happy to announce that his book, Creating Luminous Watercolor Landscapes, is in the final copy editting process, and is slated for release in mid-2010.



In 2009 Sterling was selected as a Featured Artist in the book Best of America: Watermedia vol. 2. The book is scheduled for release in Spring 2010.

Other News

Sterling recently had a painting accepted in the Transparent Watercolor Society of America's 33rd annual juried competition.

Sterling has the privilege of being one of the founders of "The Rusty Nail Painters," an international invitational group of professional artists that will meet every two years for a week of plein air painting and discussions ranging from the philosophy of art to marketing.  Their first outing was in October 2008 when they met in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada.
